PROSTHODONTIC CLASSIFICATION SYSTEMS
The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) has developed
detailed systems to create a standardized criteria for clear
evaluation of diagnostic and treatment
complexity. As useful
tools in any dental practice, these classification systems
present a means of determining the level of Prosthodontic
care required by
completely edentulous, partially endentulous, or dentate
patients. They are already being introduced to dental
school programs and are
an excellent way to share information with dental professionals
outside the specialty.
